Espresso Cielo was one of the first good cafes that I visited in Los Angeles four or so years ago. I loved it primarily for getting me to Main Street in Santa Monica, but Espresso Cielo has a lot of other great things going for it. The name insinuates heavenly espresso, and their color scheme reflects that idea with an abundance of robins egg blue matching the frequent color of an LA sky. Espresso Cielo carries Forty-Ninth parallel espresso and is usually better than mediocre, although it is highly inconsistent with whoever is the barista. I always make sure to go to Espresso Cielo when I am in the area and I have great memories of this shop, but I hope they improve on the quality of their espresso shots.

Recommend: Go roller blading down the boardwalk and check out the eccentricities of Venice. Also check out the other direction of Main Street in Santa Monica for good shopping or food.

Note: WiFi is here but weak. Also, I would much recommend this over Dogtown Coffee down the street (sorry).
